Di Maria, Kolo Muani, Yilmaz… those who will leave
On Friday, PSG officially announced the departure of Angel Di Maria, who is coming to the end of his contract. After seven seasons in the capital club, the love story between the Argentinian striker and the Parisian club will come to an end. Hailed by its president Nasser al-Khelaïfi, el Fideo should receive a vibrant tribute from the supporters at the Parc des Princes against Metz.
In Nantes too, Randal Kolo Muani will live his last moments with the Canaries. The winner of the Coupe de France has agreed with Eintracht Frankfurt in recent weeks and will join the German club this summer, with which he will be able to play in the next Champions League (thanks to the victory in the Europa League). This season, the French U21 international has scored 13 goals in 40 games in all competitions. In « Le Vestiaire », he assured « that there will be tears » at Beaujoire this Saturday.
On the side of Lille too, it is an important element of these last seasons of the Mastiffs which is leaving. Burak Yilmaz will play his last minutes with the northern club, as he said on his social networks on Friday. The end of two years of passion for the 37-year-old striker, who won the championship and the Champions Trophy with Losc in 2021. This will also be the case for Xeka after four and a half seasons with the club.
Other departures are also recorded. After more than 400 professional matches, Yannick Cahuzac will celebrate his last at Bollaert against Monaco. The 37-year-old midfielder has already announced his retirement. On the side of Angers also it will change since Thomas Mangani and Ismaël Traoré, at the end of the contract at the SCO, will leave the club, just like Romain Thomas. On the side of Strasbourg, Anthony Caci will experience his last with Strasbourg at the Vélodrome. The defender signed a four-year contract with Mainz last January. Non-exhaustive list.
Mbappé, Tchouaméni, Kamara… those who could leave
The names that follow are already making headlines in transfer window sections. The first of them, at the very top of the pile, is obviously that of Kylian Mbappé. His future will be known in a few hours, he who is torn between continuing his adventure at PSG or trying another challenge at Real Madrid.
On the side of OM, it is the situation of Boubacar Kamara which is on everyone’s lips. Called by Didier Deschamps for the next gathering of the Blues, the midfielder is coming to the end of his lease with the Olympian club and is being closely watched in Europe. In Monaco, Aurélien Tchouaméni could bring big money to the Rocher club. The French international (8 caps) is very courted (PSG, Real, Chelsea) and seems set to join a big continental team, even in the event of direct qualification from ASM for the next C1.
Among the other names who could take to their heels this summer, and therefore play their last minutes with their club this Saturday, are those of Benjamin Bourigeaud and Hugo Ekitike. The first, elected player of the month for April, may have played his last match at Roazhon Park last week. At 28, the Rennais has never hidden that an experience abroad motivated him. As for the young striker from Reims, he already refused advances from Newcastle last winter. But not sure it will be the same if a team at the top of the table – or for that matter, like Dortmund – makes advances to him.
Finally, at the bottom of the table, Wahbi Khazri could reconsider his future in the event of relegation with Saint-Etienne, just like Farid Boulaya, author of a good season with Metz. Both men are out of contract in June.
