An unpublished report on the disappearance of little Marion will be broadcast on May 24, at 9:05 p.m., as part of the “Criminal Investigations” program on W9. His father, discreet for some time, breaks the silence.
The drawn features, Michel Wagon appears at the wheel of a car. It circulates in this district of the boulevard de la Liberté, in Agen. Not far from the Sembel school, where her daughter disappeared on November 14, 1996, at midday. “Every time I come here, it’s torture,” says little Marion’s father.
Nobody “will forbid me to speak, to seek the truth”. Michel Wagon, rather discreet for some time, comes out of silence and will appear, exclusively, in an unpublished report devoted to the disappearance of his little girl. This long format of about fifty minutes will be broadcast on Tuesday May 24, at 9:05 p.m., on W9 (a channel of the M6 group) as part of the “Criminal Investigations” program presented by Nathalie Renoux.

The filming of the Criminal Investigations episode
The commander understands “the gravity of the situation”
On the eve of World Missing Children’s Day, this news program will return at length to this disappearance which has upset the whole of France. The first in France which had never been relayed so much. A way “to explore avenues that have been neglected and that could rebound the investigation”.
We can hear a father who speaks of “his bout’chou, all blonde with blue eyes”. He looks back on that day “when their life was turned into horror”. “Initially, I thought it was an accident, we were in total distress”, says Michel Wagon, more than 25 years after Marion’s disappearance.
Another key figure in this case, Commander Roland Courdesses also intervenes in this report. “When you are 25 years old, you quickly understand the gravity of the situation”, he explains, referring to the life of the parents “which stopped” that day.

Commander Roland Courdesses
Over the minutes, the report in this issue of “Criminal Investigations” traces the journey of the girl between her school and her home. A look back at key moments when her disappearance was most certainly played out in a few minutes, even a few seconds after Marion lingered that day in school to “see her former mistress and play a little”.
We can also see former classmates of Marion Wagon “remembering this terrible day” that they “will never forget”.
Throughout the fifty minutes, the many leads followed by this investigation are explored. Not to mention the “hiccups” (read our article below) including the one that occurred in the first hours of this disappearance. “Where every minute is precious”.
DNA analyzes
Throughout these months and years, the tracks of sexual predators will be exploited. No result. Like the one that led a few months ago to new DNA analyzes to compare with traces found on Michel Fourniret’s business. They gave nothing.
And the tears of Michel Wagon, at the end of this report produced by Cyrielle Adam, are cold in the back. The distress of an entire family who “will never be able to accept…”
Many “hiccups” throughout this investigation
The little girl has barely been missing for a few hours when the first “hiccup” occurs in this investigation. Commander Roland Courdesses recounts the difficulties he had “to find a dog”. “A dog handler was on vacation. I had Villeneuve, he wanted us to make official requests. It was not the time to waste time doing paperwork, ”notes the policeman. The dog arrived almost five hours after the alert was issued about the disappearance. “It doesn’t take long to sniff out a track,” says the commander. This will lead to the arrest of a house painter quickly exonerated with a solid alibi.
“Errors” punctuate the investigation
The first track closes. Not the only error to punctuate the entire course of this meticulous investigation which, for months and even years, will explore all the testimonies or alerts received. The report also returns to the press conference of the public prosecutor, the day after the disappearance. He evokes a possible “quarrel of the child with the family or his friends”. “It’s a terrible fault” for the father of the family. The one that has again wasted precious time. Other tracks were also abandoned “too early”, according to other speakers. But more than 25 years after the disappearance, for Roland Courdesses, “we must not leave Marion dead without explanation”. Will the broadcast of this feature film provide evidence and guide an investigation that is still open?
